In the wake of the police actions against Anaheim protestors I decided to make this. It's very simple, but I think it gets the point across.

The American and local governments make so much talk about freedom and liberty yet react with such brutality toward those who take advantage of the liberties they have been given to address grievances they have with their government.

Let's admit it. Every government that I am aware of is fucked up to the point where the things we're meant to be allowed to do get frowned upon and beaten down.

You can't protest here in the US anymore without getting the living shit beat out of you by the power abusive police...

I read an article online awhile back where they actually denied a man the occupation of policeman because he was literally, "too smart", and "Would get board with police work". Doesn't surprise me. The dumber you are, and the less you question things, the more controllable you are.

I remember reading about how some people in an especially impoverished area of Oakland turned an abandoned library, previously used for drug dealing and child prostitution, into a working library again. The people in the neighborhood all got together and cleaned everything up and put in books and everything. However, the neighborhood had to watch out 24/7 for police looking to undo all of their hard work.

Here's their Facebook page. [link]

Geez, that's f*cked up..

The building was abandoned for years, what the hell does the city care if something useful is done with it? In a place like Oakland, with extrordinarily high amounts of murder, rape, break ins, prostitution, etc., the only thing the police care about is a group of people trying to improve their community..

They have a few vids on Youtube, we should try spreading them.

If you told me five years ago that the police were thugs and pigs and that we were heading towards a police state, I would laugh in your face; but now that I’ve actually started paying attention to the news, I’m afraid I actually have to agree.

I don't hate the police in general though. I think a lot of people (especially people of color) join the police force because of the benefits, not because they're psychopaths.

Even cops support Occupy. [link]

True. Not all cops are pigs, but most pigs are cops.
